About Eitan

I have worked as a gemologist with PGSL since 2006, grading diamonds, colored gemstones, and fine jewelry, and developing educational programs for our courses. I helped create the World of Diamonds and World of Gemstones classes and later introduced our gemstone sorting program.

My interests in gemology go beyond the laboratory. I have always been fascinated by the history of gemstone trade routes and the way the global market for diamonds and colored stones evolved during the twentieth century, which led me to pursue graduate studies in international affairs. I continue to travel for PGSL and enjoy teaching students how the science, history, and marketplace of gemstones all connect.
