Advanced Diamond Grading Course

 

This course presents students with many common diamond grading dilemmas and offers standardized ways to approach them. Some of these questions include the problem of very strong blue fluorescence, borderline stones, and analyzing a diamond for recut potential. Numerous sample stones will be provided for the student to learn from, providing a hands-on approach to the subject matter. The course will also focus on the laboratory procedures for accurately identify color treated diamonds through irradiation and HPHT processes. All students who successfully complete this course will receive a Certificate of Completion.
